Amber, Marie Deen is a Nature mentor, teaching artist, and folk herbalist with over 15 years of experience in children’s education, play, and learning. Amber is passionate about cultivating environments in which children can connect to the natural world in meaningful and lasting ways. Amber has specialized training in Social Emotional Learning, Movement pedagogy, Nature, Mentorship, Waldorf, and is certified in first aid and CPR for both adults and children. Amber has worked with a variety of organizations including: Honeybee Schoolhouse, the YMCA, Philbrook Museum of art, Everwild LA, and Under The Canopy, and Gathering Place.
